FAQ

Q: Can I use this battery in my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro 15? A: No — the Mid 2010 A1286 uses the A1321 battery; the A1382 is only compatible with the 2011 and 2012 hardware architectures which have a different internal power connector. Q: How should I calibrate the new MacBook battery? A: We recommend 2–3 full charge and discharge cycles (100% down to 5%) to calibrate the smart chip and ensure OS X correctly reports the available runtime and health.
