Installation Warning: Glued Screen & Crack Risk

The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd Gen) battery is bonded to the chassis with strong adhesive, and the display is glued to the frame. Forcing the screen open can crack the glass or tear the display and digitizer cables. Professional installation with a heat mat, suction cups and plastic pry tools is strongly recommended; the adhesive must be reheated and pried slowly. Damage caused by improper disassembly, such as a cracked screen, is not covered by the warranty.
